We interrupt our regularly scheduled blog post for this moment to honor someone:

Recently I started reading Fat Cyclist, a blog that started being about bike related jokes but ended up being about fighting cancer, both on a macro level (Team Fatty is the largest LIVESTRONG Challenge Team) and a micro level (the author’s wife, Susan, has been fighting cancer for quite some time).

Sadly, after receiving hospice care for quite some time, Susan passed away on August 5, 2009. But in the words of Elden, or Fatty, don’t say Susan lost.

She showed us all the courage to fight to the end.

A moment of silence for Susan, and consider joining Team Fatty–raising over half a million dollars to fight cancer–or at least adding the incredibly inspirational Fat Cyclist to your feed reader. Namu Amidabutsu.
