My Story, Part Forty Nine

I’m running out of time for the century. It’s only a little more than a month away and my training has been sporadic. Part of it is just me sleeping too late, part of it is my other obligations, and part of it is the weather.

Those don’t add up to a successful 100 mile ride.

My attempts to sleep earlier have worked in some respects, but not in my getting on the bike more. I have to come up with a better solution.

I’m down to my last six weeks, and while I’ve done a 70 mile ride a bit over a month ago, I doubt I’m ready. It’s time to ramp it up.

Let’s see how this goes tomorrow.
