My Story, Part Fifty One

The morning is the best time to do a bike ride. It’s not hot (yet) and sunrises are their own rewards. But for whatever reasons–I mostly attribute it to outright laziness–I’ve not been able to get my morning rides in like I have in the past.

That has to change, and it did this morning.

As long as I’m done with my ride at 7, I can get into work at my usual time. That means to get in an hour–which is kind of my minimum for a ride–I better leave by 6. In past years I’ve done a lot of 5 am starts, including some 5-7 am rides which serve as my mid length ride for the week.

It’s starting again, I hope.

One month and change until the century. I need miles in.
