My Story, Part Fifty Three
I have a goal every night of hitting the sack by 9:30 pm. I rarely make it. Keeping up this blog, for instance, or studying programming, or running, or cycling make it difficult to do so.
This week I’ve yet to make a 9:30 am sleep time, and it’s not going to happen tonight either.
I’ve found that it’s great to have goals, and to aim high, but to be realistic about things. I knew it was unlikely I could make a 9:30 bedtime the majority of the time, and impossible for it to happen seven out of seven days. But that said, if I make it one out of every three days, it’s still one more than I’d have done without the goal.
