Finding the Energy

I’m tired, still. This month has been full of celebrations (which are not over yet), working a weekend day or two, and a new computer system at work, all of which are conspiring to keep me tired.

I dunno about you but I find that combining being tired with not working out to be a downhill spiral. If I’m too tired to work out, I get more tired, which makes it even harder for me to work out.

I’ve gotta break out of that. I’m doing a few things–short bike rides and runs as well as lifting weights–but I have to do more.

I’m hoping to start meeting one of my friends at work for early morning runs soon. A bit of peer pressure really helps out. I’m not sure it’ll be enough, but if I can at least get started, I can probably build on that.
