My Story, Part Seventy One
I’m a little sore. Not a lot, but a little. I’ve been getting my training program going again after having fallen a bit off the wagon for awhile. My weight has crept back up to 190 after spending a long time around 185.
So I’ve been running and riding, and trying to get my diet back in check. It’s a little easier after finishing up this week’s obligations (another birthday party–actually two), and my first bits of riding besides fooling around after bike adjustments since the century.
My left knee is a little unhappy today; on Thursday night it was my right hamstring.
I’ll have to work on this for awhile more to get closer to my usual shape.
And here, better late than never, is my favorite picture from this year’s century ride, climbing up the hardest hill of the whole hundred miles:
I’ll have more to say about my cycling to come.
