My Story Part Seventy Three
I’m about 90 degrees into a 180 degree turn. I haven’t been doing that well with my health and fitness recently–once I was done with the century I started a downward spiral and my way too busy October dragged me down into it further. But it’s November now and that part of my life is over.
It’s time to get busy again.
The changes I need to make to get myself back on track aren’t huge, but they’re there. Fixing my diet involves making more food for myself rather than eating out, and being more disciplined in snacking. It also means being conscious about eating less and taking my blood sugar reading more regularly. None of these things are complicated, but when they become one more thing in a long list of things that need to get taken care of, they get pushed to the background.
And of course, fixing my workout routine just means doing it. Getting up early and working hard.
Let’s bring those things back to the foreground.
