My Story, Part Ninety Two
I believe I’m reaping the benefits of the training I’ve been doing. Being more consistent in my workouts (I have been blessed by better weather recently than I’ve had in a long long time) and following a program that seems to be working, I’m dropping pounds again for the first time in a long time–down to 184 a few days ago, although bounced back to 186 this morning–and I’m running farther with less pain than ever.
That means I’m within 15 pounds of being my target weight for the hills of Livestrong Philadelphia. Interestingly, I’ve been able–even on my easy days of riding–to do some non trivial hills without having to stand or seeing my heart rate skyrocket to something ridiculous.
It’s encouraging to know that at least sometimes, my plans seem to work.
