My Story Part One Hundred and One
I’m improving, even though I feel like I’ve stepped backwards in some ways. Consistency, as I often say, is the most difficult thing, and recently I’ve not been as consistent in my workouts or diet as I’d like to be.
It’s not totally back to the drawing board, but I have to find ways to keep myself on better track. Running with a partner helps. An irregular work schedule doesn’t. Days off help. Social obligations don’t. Stubbing my toe on the bathroom door on Sunday didn’t help. Getting my running stuff on and heading out the door does.
This is not to say that I really want to live like a monk, but at least my training and diet would be better. I have to figure out other ways to get more consistent in the way I eat and work out.
