My Story Part One Hundred Twenty Seven
I’m proud of my surprising performances these past few weeks. My sub four hour metric century and my 10 minute pace in the 5K despite less than optimal training make me think that my training really is working, and pretty darn well.
It’s inspiring me to work harder, since success breeds success.
The reality is this past weekend–two two hour plus bike rides plus a 5K race–is the best training weekend I’ve had for awhile. But I’m hoping that I’ll be back on the training schedule I want to be soon.
Tomorrow’s challenging double workout schedule–a three mile hard run and a one hour hard ride–will be my first of many tests.
